Meet Jenise

Jenise’s experience in the field of Pilates is rooted in 20 years of body mechanics study and application. As a child dancer and later a competitive triathlete she learned the importance of the mind and body connection first hand.

Living a pain free and active lifestyle, lead her to pursue a comprehensive STOTT PILATES certification in 2011. Jenise is trained in post-rehabilitation through physical therapist, Melissa Condron. Athletic Reformer courses from mavericks John Garey and Courtney Miller have also inspired her teaching style. Jenise has worked with hundreds of clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Her experience includes working with the following demographics: 

  • Office workers where the focus is on core work, glutes and preventing rounded shoulders.

  • Active aging population where the focus is on balance and coordination. 

  • Rehabilitation after back and hip surgery where mobility and stability are especially important doing every day activities.  

Jenise believes that proper biomechanics and functional alignment lead to a better quality of life. She finds joy in inspiring and motivating her clients. In her down time Jenise loves to research and experience all things health, travel and dance related.
